Appreciate the game of golf? Have a sincere desire to help cultivate a fun and unique customer experience? Play-a-Round Golf is looking for a Guest Services Manager to serve as the face of its golf simulation operations and ensure that patrons have a good time.

Play-a-Round Golf welcomes all golfers, new or experienced, young or old, to play, learn, practice, or just have fun using our state-of-the-art simulation technology. As we are dedicated to values such as patience, kindness, and integrity, the Guest Services Manager will get to work in an environment that embraces both fun and genuine care. In turn, your efforts will play a huge role in shaping how the entire facility is perceived by golfers, helping provide them with a lasting impression.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Opening or closing of the facility depending on shift time
  • Welcoming Guests and assisting them with check-in
  • Helping Guests bring in and load/unload bags as necessary
  • Operating the point-of-sale system and balancing the cash drawer
  • Maintaining the appointment scheduling system and keeping track of those appointments
  • Setting golfers up on the simulators - explaining how it works, tips on best use, how to get a game started, fielding any questions
  • Oversee and assign tasks to team members
  • Keeping a watchful eye of the floor, staying attentive to Guests, and checking up on them at appropriate points
  • Maintaining a friendly, positive, and approachable demeanor at all times

Essential Requirements
  • A friendly, patient attitude toward anyone with questions or problems
  • A natural inclination toward excellent Guest service and attentiveness
  • Ability to lift a set of golf clubs up to 25lbs
  • Ability to watch over multiple activities and people at once
  • Able to learn how to operate a golf simulator, appointment scheduling system, and POS system
  • Appreciation of the game of golf (advanced knowledge great but not required)

 

Compensation and Benefits

  • $15/hour
  • Company paid PGA dues (if applicable)
